In 1927, a team of master carvers from Palermo, Italy were tasked to create an exceptionally phenomenal limestone fountain for a noble Milano family estate. Within 14 months they completed the job by hand-carving a very unique and large fountain with its centerpiece statue embodying history, strength and glory. Doing so, they also brought the Pre-Olympian God “Atlas” back to life.
